Christmas...Already...why did no one tell me!!!

I couldn't believe it when i got up on Friday and i was able to open the first window of my Advent calender! after I had devoured the little chocolate inside, which by the way was luscious Thornton's chocolate, I realised that I had NOT done any Christmas shopping and didn't have a lot of time left to do so! So in a panic i arranged to go on the 6TH when i got paid
I was in town from 12pm till 5:30pm which was bad enough, as i had spent about $300 on presents and had not actually brought myself or my eldest brother anything yet!!! grrrr
anyway after 5:30 i decided it was time to call it a day and went to work for a meeting with hot chocolate, mince pies, and decorating the nursery (yummy!!!) until 7 (supposedly)
but i was there till 8! even more grrrr!
Then Simon wondered why i was so grumpy and wanted my bed so much after i had finished wrapping presents and tieing stupid little bows on them GRRRR!!!
Man why is Christmas so special to people who don't celebrate it anyway! or at least they don't celebrate the real meaning to it!!

If we all sat back and looked at Christmas now, and Christmas 2000 years ago, i think it would be a hell of a lot different! For example we would be having a party for our mate Jesus who survived the fact that he would have been killed by king Herod, he also survived birth in a dirty old barn surrounded by animals and their shite! wrapped only in cloth and stuffed into a manger where the animals fed from! what awful conditions and still he lived on!! he was then 'bullied' by nearly every one because he knew he was sent from heaven and that he was the son of God! in fact he is God the third part of the holy trinity! Christmas is Jesus' birthday! not your stupid day to get all the presents in the world, argue over who had more roast potatoes or an excuse to see the family you haven't seen since last Christmas!! you have all year for that!!
I think the best present we could give Jesus this Year and every year after is our love for him and to TRUELY believe that he came and died so that we might live!! How cool is that!
